LEGOLAND Dubai — A LEGO World in Dubai

LEGOLAND Dubai — A LEGO World in Dubai

LEGOLAND Dubai is designed primarily for children and families, with LEGO-themed rides, attractions and play areas. The park is located at Dubai Parks and Resorts on Sheikh Zayed Road between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

LEGOLAND Dubai is officially designed primarily for children aged 2–12 and their families. Adults can still enjoy the experience, especially through family attractions, detailed LEGO models, themed environments and the park’s large-scale MINILAND.

The theme park features more than 40 rides, shows and interactive attractions. The entire experience is divided into six themed lands: FACTORY, LEGO CITY, KINGDOMS, IMAGINATION, ADVENTURE and MINILAND.

FACTORY

FACTORY is where the LEGOLAND experience begins. At the Factory Tour, visitors can learn how LEGO bricks are produced. Guests also receive their own LEGO brick made from the production line as a souvenir.

LEGO CITY

One of the most interactive areas of the park. Children can become drivers, captains and rescue heroes.

LEGO CITY includes: Driving School; Junior Driving School; Boating School; City Airport; Rescue Academy; Police Headquarters; Sea Port.

At Driving School, children can earn their own LEGOLAND Driving License after completing the attraction.

KINGDOMS

A medieval LEGO world filled with castles, knights and family rides. Main attractions include The Dragon, Merlin’s Challenge, Merlin’s Flying Machine and other family experiences.

IMAGINATION

A creative area focused on building, experimentation and LEGO play. Visitors can build and test their own LEGO cars, explore LEGO MINDSTORMS robotics, visit LEGO Master Builder Academy, watch LEGO Studios 4D, explore DUPLO Valley with younger children and ride LEGO Technic Twister.

ADVENTURE

A themed land for exploration and adventure. It includes Lost Kingdom Adventure, Pharaoh’s Revenge, Beetle Bounce, Wave Racers and Submarine Adventure. Submarine Adventure is especially distinctive: guests can look through the submarine windows at LEGO models and marine animals during the ride.

MINILAND

One of the most recognizable parts of LEGOLAND Dubai. MINILAND is located inside a fully air-conditioned indoor space and is built from millions of LEGO bricks. It features miniature versions of Dubai and other famous landmarks from the Middle East, including the Dubai Skyline, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Airport, Dubai Creek, Dubai Marina, Abu Dhabi, the Egyptian Pyramids and Petra. Children can also visit Build A City, an interactive area where they can create their own LEGO city.

IMPORTANT: HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS

Individual attractions have minimum height requirements. Examples include: Driving School — minimum 110 cm; The Dragon — minimum 120 cm; Submarine Adventure — minimum 80 cm; Lost Kingdom Adventure — minimum 90 cm; Technic Twister — minimum 105 cm. Always check the official website for the latest requirements before visiting.

CURRENT STATUS

The official LEGOLAND Dubai website currently shows the Theme Park and Water Park as temporarily closed, without a confirmed reopening date. LEGOLAND Dubai Theme Park and LEGOLAND Water Park are separate parks. Visiting both requires the appropriate ticket or combo/pass.

THEME PARK OR WATER PARK?

LEGOLAND Dubai Theme Park and LEGOLAND Water Park are two separate experiences within the wider Dubai Parks and Resorts destination. The Theme Park is organised around six lands, rides, building activities and the indoor MINILAND. The Water Park is a separate water-based attraction with its own facilities and admission conditions. Do not assume that a Theme Park ticket includes the Water Park: choose the appropriate ticket or combo/pass, and verify what is operating before purchase.

PLANNING A FAMILY DAY

For a family visit, start with the children’s heights and interests rather than trying to cover every attraction. Make a short priority list, allow time for meals and cooling breaks, and use the official attraction information for height rules and operating details. FACTORY, MINILAND and indoor building spaces offer a change of pace between rides, while LEGO CITY and KINGDOMS give children opportunities to participate rather than only watch. Recheck hours, closures and ticket inclusions immediately before travelling. Comfortable shoes matter because the lands are spread across a large outdoor site, even though several attractions provide air-conditioned relief. Keep the group together at meeting points, and allow younger children time to explore at their own speed instead of treating the day as a checklist.
