Consular document legalisation: United States
We offer consular document legalisation support for United States, including UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) attestation. Through trusted specialist partners, we coordinate preparation, required certifications and the consular stage according to the procedure applicable to your document.
Consular legalisation with Hello Emirates
Our service covers document preparation and legalisation support, not just appointment booking. We assist with personal, educational and corporate documents, including certificates, diplomas, official records, company documents and other originals, where the relevant mission accepts them for the action you need. We coordinate specialist work and document handling through trusted partners.
We first establish the route: where the document was issued, the country and organisation where it will be used, and which certifications it already carries. UAE-issued documents for use abroad and foreign documents for use in the UAE can require different certification chains. Consular legalisation, MOFA attestation, copy certification and personal signature witnessing are distinct procedures; we agree the route applicable to your case.
What our support covers
- Initial document and certification-route checks
We carry out preliminary checks of scans, confirm the mission’s requirements, required originals and completed certification stages. Before documents are handed over, we explain whether the selected procedure applies and what further steps are needed.
- Document-pack preparation
We provide a checklist and help assemble originals, copies, forms and supporting evidence. If prior certifications in the issuing country or other authorities are required, we separately agree their sequence and whether they can be arranged through partners.
- Translation to the receiving party’s requirements
Where needed, we arrange translation through specialist translators and confirm the language and translation certification accepted by the mission or receiving organisation. Translation is agreed and charged separately.
- UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) attestation
We arrange UAE MOFA attestation through a specialist partner after the required prior certifications. This stage is included in support starting from AED 1,500 per document. Its position in the overall certification chain depends on the document’s origin and intended use.
- Consular-stage preparation
We confirm current submission procedures, document-pack requirements and consular fee arrangements. We explain how appointments are made and what to prepare for the visit. Where the mission requires the applicant to register or book personally, the client does so; our support does not override this rule.
- Submission and collection coordination
Where the mission permits a representative, we coordinate document handover, submission and collection through a partner, including the required authorisation. Where personal attendance is required, we prepare the pack and instructions for the client’s visit. We do not promise remote witnessing of a personal signature.
- Stage tracking and document return
We keep you informed of the agreed stages, check progress with the specialists involved and coordinate collection and return of originals by an available method. If the receiving authority asks for additional documents, we agree the next steps. Delivery arrangements are agreed separately.
Pricing and service scope
Support starts from AED 1,500 per document and includes UAE MOFA attestation. Consular fees, translation, delivery and additional certifications are agreed separately before work starts. After checking the document, we agree the stages, price and estimated timing, taking appointment availability and the mission’s processing into account. The relevant authority retains the decision on accepting and certifying the document.
How to get started
Contact us with a scan or clear photograph of the document. Tell us the issuing country, destination and intended use, your nationality, existing certifications and whether you hold the original. We first agree the applicable route and service scope, then document handover and any personal attendance. Preliminary checks can begin remotely; originals and attendance depend on the relevant mission’s rules.
US Embassy and Consulate-General · UAE
UAE documents for use in the United States may be authenticated after MOFA. Witnessing a personal signature requires the signer to attend.
US diplomas and vital records are not authenticated by the US mission in the UAE: they follow authentication in the US. During preparation, we take account of current mission operating restrictions.
Hello Emirates service support
Contact us to confirm current appointment requirements and agree the scope of support. Requirements can change, and many embassies require the applicant or a citizen of the relevant country to make the booking personally. After reviewing your document, we will clarify the available preparation, submission and collection process, including any stages that require personal participation.
