Driving Licence in Dubai

We coordinate UAE driving licence processing directly with a licensed driving school. Residents can choose one of three packages. Package 1 costs AED 11,000, takes 10–14 days and includes four hours of practical training with an English-speaking instructor plus the final RTA Road Test; no theory exam is required. Package 2 costs AED 9,000, takes 10–14 days and includes an English-language theory exam, four hours of practice and the final road test. Package 3 costs AED 17,500, takes 10–15 days and follows a no-exam document route through the consulate of another country with legalisation and MOFA attestation. For Package 3, only an AED 140 eye test is completed separately, no RTA visit is required, and the original Emirates ID is provided several days before collection.

Package 1 — one exam

Package 2 — two exams

The package costs AED 9,000 and takes 10–14 days. It includes an English-language theory exam, four hours of practical training and the final RTA Road Test. This is the lowest-priced package and combines theory assessment with practical preparation and city driving assessment.

Package 3 — no exams

The package costs AED 17,500 and takes 10–15 days. It follows a document-based route through the consulate of another country, including the required stamp, legalisation and MOFA attestation. No RTA visit is required. The applicant only completes an eye test, charged separately at AED 140, and provides the original Emirates ID several days before the licence is collected.

Hello Emirates is not a driving school and does not issue driving licences. We help clients compare the packages, explain the sequence and arrange support throughout the process with a trusted licensed partner. The partner driving school provides the specialist service and practical training. Exams follow the applicable RTA procedure, and driving licences are issued by the authorised UAE bodies.

  2. Transfer to the licensed partner

    With the client’s agreement, we transfer the application information to the licensed partner driving school that provides the service.

    The partner organises the file, practical training, exams or the document legalisation route included in the selected package.

  4. Partner support

    Hello Emirates arranges support from a trusted licensed partner throughout every stage of the selected package.
